160mm x 50m Wrapped Perforated Land Drain Coil Pipe

This single wall 160mm perforated land drainage pipe comes in a 50mtr coil and complete with one connector (also referred to as coupler or joiner) to connect multiple coils together.

This land drain is corrugated and pre-wrapped in a geotextile membrane along the whole of its length. Designed to prevent small particles (such as soil, sand etc.) in appropriate soil conditions from entering the land drain, whilst allowing excellent water filtration. Wrapped land drain improves the efficiency of the whole system, prolonging its life and allows for an easy and quick installation.

Perforated land drain is designed to collect surface water and commonly used in agricultural, domestic, commercial and industrial areas. It has small holes (perforations) throughout the pipe which allows the water to be dispersed. Great for water logged areas and useful for many applications including lawns, gardens, golf courses and sports fields. Land drain pipe is also popular within French Drain systems. To protect the pipe from surface traffic or maintained operations damage such as deep spiking, the minimum cover depth should be at least 450mm and the trench you dig should be wider than the diameter of the pipe.

This product is not suitable as a dispersal drain for septic tanks.
