600mm x 600mm x 330mm Metro Duct Access Chamber Box

This 600mm x 600mm modular duct access chamber box is 330mm deep and black in colour. Comes with 16 pre-trepanned duct entry/exit points designed to accept 63mm, 110mm, 120mm, and 160mm OD duct, duct inlets vary from large diameter (sizes to 160mm) to small diameter (sizes to 120mm).

Made from 100% recycled polypropylene (PP), this metro access chamber is lightweight and easy to install. With its external wall patterned, this allows the concrete surround to flow into the voids adding structural strength. Used by many local authorities and utility sectors, the panels are quick and easy to assemble. With an interlock design at each corner, allows the chambers to be stacked (3 per metre depth). The wide flange design enables the deep seated 450mm x 450mm B125 Composite cover and frame to fit onto the top chamber ring.

Duct access chambers are designed to access underground cabling and pipe installations, such as cable drawpits, street lighting, CCTV, fibre optics, traffic signal applications. Used also for changing direction, these chambers are versatile and suitable for most ducting projects.

Manufactured in the UK by Naylor provides the installer with a reliable product that will perform. It is not recommended to store this product long-term outside in direct sunlight, due to product degradation which can cause damage. The installed chamber should have a C15/ST3 concrete base and surround, 150mm surround and 150mm base bedded on a 100mm Type 1 sub-base or concrete slab with a 50mm drain hole (base to be constructed first and have a smooth finish). The frame must be supported on the concrete surround of the chamber on a bed of mortar.
