Concentric Meter Mount Manifold Kit Below Ground – No Drain Off

This underground meter mount kit is designed to connect standard 15mm concentric water meters to your water supply. Featuring a meter mount and a stop tap which can cut the flow in the pipeline, this MCP manifold kit is suitable for use in below ground applications and is WRAS approved. This model has no drain off valve and includes one 25mm metric PE inlet connection and one 25mm metric PE outlet connection.

You can purchase this meter kit complete with a meter boundary box with plastic lid or cast lid. The 15mm concentric water meters are sold separately with this metre kit and the metre boundary boxes. This mechanical fitting is always recommended to be installed with pipe liners when using MDPE pipe. If you are connecting to barrier pipe, adaptors are available.

All of our MDPE compression fittings can be used on either blue (potable) MDPE water pipe or black (non-potable) MDPE water pipe. This MDPE compression range is fast and simple to use and includes the captive nitrile rubber O-ring seal, achieving a sealed system and providing protection against leaks. Polyacetal split rings and NBR o-rings, suitable for water, are supplied as standard. CPVC split rings and EPDM or FPM o-rings and seals are available on request. For aggressive chemical applications, the end user is advised to test suitability. Maximum temperature of use for fittings and valves is the same as the MDPE pipe, however they are not intended for use in hot water applications. They will however withstand sub-zero temperatures.

If you plan to run any water service underground, we would always recommend that the water pipe is buried in the ground inside a blue water duct system. A duct is designed to protect the pipe from damage and alert others to the presence of duct in the ground. Water caution marker tapes are commonly used as additional indications, alerting presence of the pipes. If this is your first time installing ducting, we would always recommend attaching a second drawcord to your pipe as this will enable you to easily install replacements at any point in the future, if required. Your duct system may also need duct access chambers depending on your project, which come in a various sizes to suit.
