Double Check Valve DZR Threaded – WRAS Approved

This DZR double check valve is designed to ensure water can only flow one way, also helping to prevent any leaks and protects water supplies from contamination. Threaded BSP double check valves are fast and simple to install, featuring a FI female thread on each end of the fitting. Made from Brass DZR, this quality metal fitting is WRAS approved for regulations compliance.

For all BSP threaded fittings, we insist that PTFE Tape is used to ensure a leak free joint. We recommend always trying to minimise the amount of joints used on any MDPE water installation wherever possible.

Tested to the following industry standards BS6282/5 and WRAS. For aggressive chemical applications, the end user is advised to test suitability. Plasson Double Check Valves are designed for cold water applications to 20 degrees Celsius, they are not intended for use in hot water applications.

If you plan to run any water service underground, we would always recommend that the water pipe is buried in the ground inside a blue water duct system. A duct is designed to protect the pipe from damage and alert others to the presence of duct in the ground. Water caution marker tapes are commonly used as additional indications, alerting presence of the pipes. If this is your first time installing ducting, we would always recommend attaching a second drawcord to your pipe as this will enable you to easily install replacements at any point in the future, if required. Your duct system may also need duct access chambers depending on your project, which come in a various sizes to suit.
