This woven geotextile is black in colour, 4.5 metres wide and available in a standard roll length of 100 metres. GP90 woven geotextile is a lightweight fabric and used in many domestic, civil engineering and building application projects. Extensively utilised as a basic separation geotextile for incompatible soil, preventing heavy duty construction aggregates such as gravel from seeping into the beneath soil or sub grade material.
Commonly used for driveways, patios, paths and other applications where a high strength yet economical geotextile membrane is essential and also for ground stabilisation projects. Made by weaving polypropylene tapes together, this criss-cross pattern makes the fabric really strong and permeable, but the drainage capabilities are not as permeable compared with
non-woven geotextile which is suited more towards drainage projects including
attenuation and soakaway crates. GP90 woven geotextile can be cut to your desired length and size, however because of the woven criss-cross this product might fray at the edges when cut.
If you are limited on space, we can also offer this same geotextile in a
GP90 woven folded pack. For small domestic projects, we supply GP90 geotextile in the sizes of
2.25mtr x 50mtr mini roll,
2.25mtr x 25mtr micro roll and
4.5mtr x 10mtr handy pack
Manufactured from extruded slit film polypropylene tapes, this woven geotextile is resistant to all naturally occurring alkalines, soil acids, fungi and bacteria. Woven geotextile membranes are typically installed between the sub base and sub grade, acting as a separator. As soil provides great ground stabilisation, woven geotextile fabric is designed to make sure the layer of soil does not mix with other materials. It ensures a healthy water flow and prevents clogging which ensures ground stabilisation and levels of protection. Geotextiles are manufactured from various materials ranging in thicknesses and styles including
woven,
non-woven and
knitted socks. They all have their unique purposes for different project developments. If you need a product for ground reinforcement, take a look at our
