Pushfit MDPE to Copper Adaptor

This pushfit MDPE to Copper/PB/PEX adaptor is designed to join metric MDPE water pipe to Copper/PB/PEX pipe. Featuring a pushfit design, providing an alternative solution to the mechanical range and ensuring a tamper proof connection. We would advise pipe liners to always be used at the MDPE end of the fitting.

Our MDPE Pushfit Fittings range can be used on various pipe materials, such as blue (potable) or black (non-potable) PE pipe and also copper, PB, PEX depending on the fitting. This attractive and compact fitting is ideal for any plumbing solution, where appearance is crucial and space is limited. These fittings are WRAS approved and is able to withstand working pressures of up to 16bar / PN 16, allowing the regulation of flow. We recommend always trying to minimise the amount of joints used on any MDPE water installation wherever possible.

Tested to the following industry standards: ISO 17885 for Water Applications, AS/NZS 4129, ISO 7/1, BS 21, DIN 2999, UNI 9561, NEN 3258, AS 1722, DIN 8076. Plasson Series 1 Compression Fittings are supplied with Polyacetal split and grip rings and NBR O-rings which are suitable for water. For use with media other than water, please get in touch. Plasson Series 1 push-fittings provide connectivity of PE pipe to a variety of plumbing pipe materials including PE, Copper, PB, and PEX. Inserting the pipe up to the fitting stop creates both the seal and the grip on the pipe.

If you plan to run any water service underground, we would always recommend that the water pipe is buried in the ground inside a blue water duct system. A duct is designed to protect the pipe from damage and alert others to the presence of duct in the ground. Water caution marker tapes are commonly used as additional indications, alerting presence of the pipes. If this is your first time installing ducting, we would always recommend attaching a second drawcord to your pipe as this will enable you to easily install replacements at any point in the future, if required. Your duct system may also need duct access chambers depending on your project, which come in a various sizes to suit.
