Techgrid 20/20 - 4m x 50m

This biaxial Techgrid 20/20 geogrid measures 4 metres wide and available in a roll length of 50 metres. Techgrid, similar to Tensar, are market leaders in manufacture and design of geogrid reinforcement and has been used by contractors all over the UK for many years, proving a popular choice for biaxial geogrids. This geogrid roll can be easily cut to your desired length and size, making installation quick and easy.

Geogrids are used to enhance strength in areas and structures of roads, pavements, working platforms, reinforced foundations and many more applications. They do this by performing two geosynthetic functions, stabilisation and reinforcement. When installed, geogrids increases the bearing capacity and can save costs by reducing the thickness of the aggregate layers needed.

The Techgrid series features the original biaxial design, consisting of stiff monolithic geogrids with integral junctions. Orientated in two directions, resulting in the ribs having a higher degree of molecular orientation which continues through the area of the integral node. The ribs have a rectangular cross section with square edges. Manufactured from approx. 98% of quality polypropylene PP resins and approx. 2% of carbon black.

We can supply multiple products within the Techgrid and Tensar SS Geogrid range including (20/20) SS20, (30/30) SS30 and (40/40) SS40.

Standards and testing procedures have included BS EN ISO 10319:1996, ISO 2602:1980, GRI Test Method GG2-87EN and more. Carbon black inhibits attack by UV light so we recommend keeping the product out of UV radiation prior to installation.
